About Christina

This is me. I am 27 (parties like I am 22) and reside in East Dallas/ Lakewood area. I haven’t been at my new place that long but there are plenty of things about it to love.

Yes, I am single. Ask me again in three years and I’ll probably say the same thing. This part of my profile will never need editing.

I think I am quite opposite from anyone in my family. It makes me question the milkman. I feel that now at 27, I finally don’t get lectured to the degree that I was lectured by my sisters. My mom still calls to remind me to fill up the gas in my tank or to shut off my lights before I leave the house. (Except one light so that rapists will think someone is home. Speaking of rapists - she bought all of us a rape whistle).

I have been photographing objects, people, places, things for about seven years now. The experience barely shows in my work. I shoot with a Canon Rebel XT. I have various lenses and would love to save up to purchase a wide angle and a macro and even some lights.

Other than photography - in my spare time I enjoy shows, films , meeting new people and love food. I mostly enjoy indie rock, electronic, down tempo, idm, and triphop. I tend to be more drawn to obscure foreign films, dramas and of course cheese ball comedies. I’ll eat anything fried and I love sushi. Oh man…I’ll eat you under the table with those hot -n- ready Little Caesars Pizza.

I have a puppy chihuahua named Taco. He turned a year this past July.  He isn’t a yip yappity brat. Really. He isn’t. I also dress him up in overly priced doggie clothes. Yes.. I am THAT person. I am also eventually going to teach him how to use a litter box. My dog will kick your dogs ass in coolness.  *update: He totally sucks, never got the hang of the litterbox and my patience was wearing thin. My litterbox is sitting outside on my balcony, any takers?

He is bearable when he is tuckered out

I also have a family. They are your traditionally strict, distant, judgmental, critical, be a doctor or die Vietnamese family. I did not become a doctor…. I have two older sisters. One nephew. My mom swears that if my nephews pictures are on the internet, the bad internet baby napper will get him. She also thinks you can get aids from shopping at the thrift store. I plan to prove her wrong on both accounts.

And to give credit where credit is due - my good friend Kristine Macabare is the artist behind designing the website. Thank you!
